Jen Powley is a disability rights advocate and an award-winning author of Just Jen: Living Through Multiple Sclerosis.

Tom Elliott

Tom Elliott is Jen’s Fiancé and Production Director at the Centre for Art Tapes.

Emma Cameron

Emma Cameron is a Master’s Student in Health Promotion at Dalhousie University and a Student Research Scholar with the Healthy Populations Institute.

Cher Smith

Cher Smith is an occupational therapist at the Nova Scotia Rehab Centre. She is also the coach of a wheelchair basketball team in Halifax, who recently attended Canada Games in Red Deer.

Judy Haiven

Judy Haiven is a retired professor of management at Saint Mary's University.  She is a writer and social activist, and is on the steering committee of Equity Watch, a Halifax-based organization which fights discrimination, sexism, and bullying in the workplace.

Joanne Larade

Joanne Larade (mickeyjl@outlook.com) is an advocate/public speaker for persons with physical disabilities and persons with physical disabilities living in LTC, she is C0-Chair of Empowered (Empowered@facebook.com) and has been a longtime executive Board member of the Muscular Dystrophy Halifax Chapter.
